Summer

Les Contamines is a traditional alpine village which is dominated by the eastern side of the Mont Blanc massif, the views are stunning. In summer the town is a mass of flowers and offers a multitude of sports activities and entertainment. It is a hiker's paradise with miles of marked trails for all levels and many more further afield at nearby St Gervais, Chamonix and Megeve. Sports include, mountain biking, rock climbing, mountaineering, tennis, parapenting and swimming at St. Gervais. For children there are regular shows during the school holidays, two well equipped playgrounds incorporating an aerial adventure course, boating lake, crazy golf, trampolining, and a new guarded bathing lake with picnic area.

The three chalets are only 15 minutes walk from the village centre where there are two small supermarkets, restaurants, banks, tourist office, pharmacy, shops and bars.
